Einstein came to us from a county animal shelter in a nearby county. To the credit of the staff at the shelter, they were begging for someone to rescue Einstein because he was completely “shutting down” at the shelter. They believed that he was a Shih Tzu mix. As soon as he arrived here at the clinic we could tell that he was a total sweetheart but just a tad scared. After settling in, his personality started to shine even though his physical body was just a mass of fur! When we started trying to come up with a name we thought we needed to name him after someone with lots of fluffy white hair. That is how we came up with Einstein. Once Einstein was groomed we realized that he was mostly Poodle, not Shih Tzu and Einstein didn’t really fit his looks! That is how he became Prince Albert! Below are his before and after photos. Einstein would love to have a home with another playful pup as he loves to run “zoomies” around the back yard and play with the other dogs here at the clinic.
