This is Spencer who we also call our little wolf or little coyote. He is one of the pups that we took in from Eastern North Carolina who was displaced by the hurricane. I was pretty worried on Friday when he arrived. He was scared to death and I thought we were in for a long rehabilitation time before he would be able to put up for adoption. Boy was I wrong! Spencer has totally come out of his shell. At the end of his photo session I sat down on the ground and called him over. He immediately came running, jumped into my lap, and started giving me kisses. All of his fear and shyness is gone! This little guy is a joy to be around. He already walks well on a leash and is crate trained.
