Rachel is a petite Rat Terrier mix who is as sweet as can be. She weighs about 10 pounds and we estimate that her birthday is March 21, 2017. According to her foster mom, Rachel goes in her crate nicely when it is time for mom to go to work. She also loves chew toys and other chewables like bully sticks. Rachel has been trained to use potty pads and to go outside to potty and is doing well with those skills. She loves to play and has asked that we find her a forever home with a fenced in yard and a doggie door. Before she went to her foster mom’s home Rachel would go out in the backyard with some of our other small dogs which she really seemed to enjoy. She was a stray found here in Chatham County, NC that one of the clients of our veterinary clinic found wandering out in the country. Although we tried to find her owner no one ever came forward to claim her. She was very thin and scared when she was first brought to us but she has now filled out and friendly.
